so i've decided to NOT post about all of the trial and error of operation: self-feed, even though i took the time to type a whole lengthy post about the first session this morning. it makes me go into "work"mode and i don't want to spend time there while i'm in momland. plus, i doubt anyone wants to hear about all that! ;)
i will, however, share some pics!
{session 1: dinner last night. "why is he wearing clothes?", you may ask. well, because mommy didn't know exactly how the first session would go and she certainly was not anticipating it to go like this!}

and i can't resist sharing one little thing--tonight, C independently put the spoon in his mouth. TWICE. once with a clean spoon (that i gave him to play with) and then once with avocado on it! he didn't get much food in on that bite, but it was great! and of course, it wasn't a target behavior, but maybe i was reading his signs wrong. whatev. it wouldn't be the first time and certainly won't be the last. :) mommy and daddy were happy about it!
