you are four weeks old today and your mommy can't believe it!
i was so excited about making you a cake for your one-month birthday that i made it two days early. you see, i thought that the cake needed to be made for your picture today (since you were born on a friday, i thought that the cake should be made in time for the fourth friday from your birth), but i was wrong. your "real" one-month birthday is on sunday, the 16th, but daddy and i celebrated today (since the cookie cake was fresh).
also, sorry about how the cake decoration turned out; daddy and i never claimed to be cake decorators (and we promise to not decorate your birthday cakes in the future, unless we attend a series of cake decorating classes).
all in all i think you had a nice 4 weeks old celebration...i wasn't sure how into it you were when you started out the day by blowin' out in your swing. i'm convinced you did it on purpose because you like baths so much.
