the weather was gorgeous this past sunday, so daddy suggested we go for a picnic. (boring ole' mommy thought of all the things that would NOT get done if we spent 2+ hours at the park, but decided to just let all of it go.)
mommy and daddy decided that lettuce lake park would be best, loaded up the car and headed to publix for some subs.
once we got to the park, we came across a covered area with three picnic tables that was right on the water. it was the perfect spot!
you let mommy and daddy enjoy lunch and after a quick diaper change, we walked the boardwalk and then headed over to the playground area.
you loved being outside--especially the breeze!
there were some bucket swings in the playground area so you got to go on a swing for the first time! you reacted the way you react to most new things--no crying and no squeals of delight.
all in all it was a great day with just the three of us. :)
