...lately...
...mommy's been calling you "goose"--short for silly goose
{the FIRST EVER naked naked picture of you!}
...you're rolling over from your back to your front SO WELL, but you have a hard time going the other way (which can be a bit of a problem during naps and at nighttime)
...you have the prettiest blue-gray eyes, captured in this photo by aunt chenelle
...your head and trunk control improves daily! you're able to turn your head from side to side and can be carried on mommy's hip now. you even gave mommy her first hug last week!
...you're batting at things and grasping things (like mommy's hair) all the time! you really love it when daddy rubs his hair in your face really fast. i know, it sounds weird, but you reach out your little arms and fingers and just laugh!
...you're STILL TEETHING and are thus, a little drool monster! (one bonus of you having a fever and thus having to take acetaminophen was that your mouth didn't seem to bother you.)
...your sleep patterns are NOT what mommy wants them to be, but we're on day three of operation STTN-BW (sleeping thru the night-babywise). hopefully we'll get you on track soon! one new recent development--you're sleeping with your arms out of the swaddle!
...you laugh easily these days--especially for your daddy. :) it makes mommy so happy to see you two together!
...you especially love playing "airplane" and "super carter" around the house and have really taken to what daddy and i are calling "belly bouncing." daddy lays down on the floor and you sit on his belly and he bounces you up and down. it looks like you're going "bump bump on the hump of the wump of gump." ;)

...you (and mommy) survived your first bout with the flu. it was SO SAD to see you like that! you HATED taking your medicine, having your temperature taken, and being force-fed pedialyte! mommy would be THRILLED if that never happens again, but we both know that that won't happen!

...you have the STINKIEST feet ever--even if you've had a bath in the last 12 hours! maybe it's from the footed jammies that mommy loves you to wear so much! {"stinky feet!" (kiss kiss left foot) "stinky feet!" (kiss kiss right foot) "carter has stinky feet!" (kiss kiss both feet)}
{bathtime: the ONLY time of the day that you don't have crazy hair!}
