c's 1st thanksgiving!

we went to grandma and grandpa z's house for thanksgiving this year. we had a wonderful feast outside with family and friends!

{mommy wanted to get a super cute picture of you in your super cute thanksgiving outfit, but you were much more interested in the leaves...and the grass...and the lake!}

{we had to do a quick costume change to get the picture aunt cheri bought for you (and the twins) when she was in europe when you were born! you three were SO CUTE! aunt cheri and mommy only had to take about fifty photos each to get a "keeper". this one is mommy's "winner".}

7 months

carter,

at 7 months you...

...are wearing size 3 diapers and size six month clothes

...drink at least 30 oz of breastmilk+formula and eat 3 "meals" each day
...take two naps for about 2 hours (as of the last 2 days)

...would LOVE life if a pen, paper, a washcloth, daddy's finger or links were in your mouth 24/7!

...seem to know that "carter" means you

...lounge in the shopping cart, which makes all the old ladies at publix give mommy the side-eye
...reach to be picked up or to be moved from one person to another

...are a sitting pro!
...clap

...have traded sweet breath for avocado-, banana-, oatmeal-, sweet potato-, green beans-, rice cereal- or carrot-breath depending on your last meal

...know that grunts get people's attention

...occasionally push up

...get comments from strangers ALL THE TIME about your alertness

...are trying to "crawl"--which daddy thinks will happen by thanksgiving. it ain't gonna happen though, sorry daddy. ;)

...can transfer objects from one hand to the other

...no longer have smooth, baby legs...you've got fuzzy legs!

...absolutely LOVE...

...hearing goodnight moon each night

...the computer monitors in daddy's office, cell phones, the baby monitor, the digital picture frame and mommy's laptop! mommy's so mean--she limits your time with electronics.

...being flipped upside down
